If Melania Trump is not doing much talking, it is a good thing for her. Since Donald Trump launched his third presidential bid for the White House, his wife, Melania Trump, has been silent.

Well, she did a brief interview with Fox News several months ago to talk about her charities and mentioned her husband’s political career nonchalantly.

Melania Trump’s decision to remove herself from the campaign trail and to say nothing has raised questions.

Donald Trump pushed out an interesting theory to the media as to why she is not advocating for him, “She is simply mysterious,” he whispered.

The former president told Megyn Kelly: “I think part of the beauty is that mystery.”

Donald Trump believes that Melania Trump is misunderstood, like Hollywood legend Greta Garbo. The former reality TV star added that his spouse does not need to sit down for interviews.

He claimed: “She was a great actress, But she was very reclusive and never did an interview. I don’t see Melania as like that, but she’s introspective, and she’s confident. She doesn’t need to be out there [to get interviewed]. She has confidence. She has a lot of self-confidence.”

However, veteran political and PR experts have another theory. Melania Trump is being smart. The former model has calculated her every move since leaving the White House for many reasons.

Melania Trump is dodging a legal and mediatic bullet with her vow of silence. She will not be dragged to court like Donald Trump’s children.

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have already testified, and their sister, Ivanka Trump, will take the stand later in the $250 million civil fraud trial brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James against the former president’s Trump Organization.

James has accused the former president of inflating the value of his properties. PR expert Jane Owen explained to Newsweek that Melania Trump is smart enough to protect herself from the law if Donald Trump goes down.

She will come out undamaged by the legal trouble and can start a fresh career as a spokesperson for brands or a paid speaker.

She said: “The less she comments or is seen to be supportive or unsupportive, the more room she has to maneuver. If things go badly for Trump, she can remain relatively unscathed and come out with enough remaining star power to command a healthy fee for appearances or endorsements, should she want to go down that road.”

She concluded by revealing that: “She is a savvy woman who understands the power of the spotlight and who isn’t interested in Donald Trump’s quest for power.”

The former model seems good at protecting her brand.
