She made it clear she is no longer working for his third reelection bid and has no involvement in his business dealings.
In the past month, Ivanka Trump has been hard at work trying to change her image and make a comeback into the celebrity world that she once enjoyed.
The banished socialite pulled a surprising coup in October when the former executive vice president of the Trump Organization showed up at Kim Kardashian‘s birthday celebration in Hollywood.
It was the party of the year, and Ivanka Trump, in a sparkly midriff-baring outfit, meddled and partied with the crème de la crème of Tinseltown.
As The Daily Mail put it, this is not an invitation to the Met Gala, but Ivanka Trump attending Kim Kardashian’s birthday celebration and having her photo shared with her 364 million followers will certainly help with her decision to rebrand herself.
Journalist Tom Leonard wrote that after: “The New York Times sneeringly dubbed Javanka the ‘Vuitton Vagabonds’ when it looked like they would spend the rest of their days as social outcasts. A walk-on part at Kim Kardashian’s birthday party is not exactly guest-of-honor at the Met Gala but it’s proof there is a Second Act in celebrity land – even for a Trump.”
A few weeks after Kim Kardashian helped Ivanka Trump change her unfortunate social outcast narrative, a new book revealed some harsh and nasty comments he made about the billionaire reality TV star.
ABC News’ Jonathan Karl wrote in his upcoming book that Donald Trump hung up the phone on Kim Kardashian and had some rude choice words for her.
In his book Tired of Winning, Karl claimed that Trump begged Kardashian to use her celebrity status to get famous football players to the White House after she urged him to grant more prison commutations.
Kardashian visited Trump in the Oval Office in 2018 to advocate for prison reform and push for the pardoning of Alice Johnson.
He wrote: “A source familiar with the conversations tells me Trump listened to her requests and demanded a straight-up quid pro quo. He would grant the commutations, he told Kardashian, if she leveraged her celebrity connections to get football stars who were friends of hers to come visit him at the White House.”
He also shared details of a humiliating conversation between Trump and Kardashian when she asked him to support a high-profile clemency plea.
He revealed: “Hell no, the former president told her. He wouldn’t do it. ‘You voted for Biden and now you come asking me for a favor?’ Trump told her . . . After a few more choice words, the line went dead. Trump had hung up on her.”
Trump took to Truth Social where he destroyed Ivanka Trump’s efforts to make herself new by attacking Kim Kardashian.
He called Kim Kardashian’s the World’s most overrated celebrity and added: “In the ‘book,’ he has the World’s most overrated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, supposedly telling me that she ‘would leverage her celebrity to get football stars to come to the White House,’ if I would commute the sentences of various prisoners. This story is fake news in that she would be the last person I asked to get football players.”
He continued by bashing Kardashian, whom he believed voted for “crooked Joe Biden.”
Donald Trump stated: “I did help with prisoner commutation, but only if deserving, and much more so for Kanye West than for Kim, who probably voted for Crooked Joe Biden, and look at the mess our Country is in now. Many other false stories in Karl’s very boring book, but nothing worth mentioning!”
Donald Trump’s ugly brawl with Kim Kardashian will further hurt Ivanka Trump’s already damaged reputation and prospects.
