It has now been confirmed via official documents that Donald Trump is willing to pay a lot of money for Melania Trump to keep her high standards when it comes to fashion; do not forget that she is a former model after all.
Even though Melania Trump has made zero appearances at her husband’s campaign events, has been completely absent from his rallies, declined to be present at his trials, and sat down for only one interview with Fox News this year, Donald Trump has paid a huge sum of $132,000 for her clothes, hair, and makeup.
That is the amount that was forked over to French/American designer Hervé Pierre Braillard‘s “strategy consulting,” by Donald Trump’s Save America leadership PAC for the first 6 months of 2023, according to FEC filings.
There is a possibility that the fashion guru will receive a total of $264,000 for the full year. Braillard was paid $132,000 from the PAC in 2022.
Many have questioned the large sum given to Monsieur Braillard. Well, he decided to give an explanation as to why his expertise and services are so expensive.
A spokesperson for the fashion guru told Women’s Wear Daily: “Mr. Pierre is a world-renowned artist. His work extends to many different fields, not just fashion design. His expertise is utilized for special projects and events. As with every other first lady, there is an after-the-White House life, which involves many other aspects than fashion.”
The designer also took the opportunity to share more about his talent by saying: “I am lucky to have worked in prestigious houses, to have designed [costumes] for ballets, and more recently to work in home decor. There are many upcoming projects in this after-the-White House [stage],” Pierre told the outlet at the time.”
Many are wondering where the designer’s strategic consulting and renowned expertise went when Melania Trump had one of the biggest fashion fails of the year.
