Joe Biden is a fervent Catholic who sincerely believes in the words of God and the Bible. The former senator from Delaware seems to live by the commandment that “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
The good-hearted president is determined to not only love but also to help as many of his neighbors who are suffering because of wars, dangerous gang activities, political unrest, or natural disasters in their native countries.
Which is why President Biden has opened his heart and the border between the US and Mexico to the helpless and weary. At the moment, Mr. Biden and his family are currently vacationing and celebrating the New Year on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed to Fox News that there were more than 276,000 migrant encounters in December, “making it the highest month on record.”
According to the media outlet, data shows that since “the new fiscal year began Oct. 1, there have been more than 760,000 migrant encounters at the southern border, making the first quarter of fiscal 2024 the highest quarter on record. Meanwhile, there have been 82,000 known getaways since Oct. 1. ”
The border crisis has led to many questions from Biden’s critics and his supporters. Why is Biden not doing something about the border? Will the disaster cost him a second term in the White House?
Multiple Republicans and Democrats have slammed the president for his decision to put God over the country. Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Ala., chairman of the House GOP Policy Committee, told Fox News that Joe Biden is on a vacation from reality and added: “President Biden’s entire presidency has been a vacation from reality—760,000 illegal immigrants have been encountered at the border since October.”
Rep. Mark Alford, R-Mo., declared that Biden and his administration “should be ashamed” of the state of the U.S. migrant crisis.
He added: “Every month, we continue to see record-breaking encounters at our southern border. Instead of pursuing solutions, Joe Biden is spending time on vacation. Mr. President, the world is watching. They see that our borders are in shambles and your administration has zero intention of course correcting.”
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, also voiced his frustration and disappointment at Biden’s mishandling of the migrant crisis.
According to the Wall Street Journal, in late December, 14 buses of migrants were sent to New York from Texas in a single day.
Since 2022, NYC has received 161,000 migrants, and the city is unable to grapple with the situation.
Adams said his city has reached its “breaking point” and added: “For many months, we were able to keep the visualization of this crisis from hitting our streets, but we have reached a breaking point and can no longer do that.”
The mayor also revealed that he has not been able to get a meeting with Biden to discuss the issue.
He claimed: “I met with the president several times on this issue in ’21, I think early 2022, the dates get confused. It baffles me. New York City is the economic engine of the state and the country. And I don’t have the answer.”
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has taken an Adolf Hitler-inspired position on immigration and is leading in all major polls against Joe Biden.
