As a former president and billionaire, it is easy to imagine that Donald Trump is rarely told the word no.

The real estate mogul, who is embroiled yet again in another self-made scandal, recently had a judge deny his request, and he opted to deliver an epic meltdown on live television.

Donald Trump is currently in court, battling it out with E. Jean Carroll. The writer said that Trump sexually assaulted her in a New York City department store changing room in the mid-1990s.

Carroll was previously awarded $5 million in damages in May when Trump was found civilly liable for defamation. Donald Trump continued to slam the journalist on social media and in interviews, and she decided to sue him again.

Trump said that he did not know Carroll, he later stated she was not “his type” and went on to claim that her story was fake and that she is a”whack job.”

This time around, Carroll’s lawyers are seeking $10 million in compensatory damages. Donald Trump, via his attorneys, asked Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who is overseeing the case, to push back the trial because he wants to attend his mother-in-law’s funeral.

Melania Trump‘s mother, Amalija Knavs‘s funeral will take place on Thursday, and Donald Trump explained that he needs to be present to console and support his wife.

However, many view this as yet another hypocritical move by Trump. Trump paused the mourning period, leaving Melania Trump alone in Florida, to happily deliver pizzas to police officers at the Waukee Fire Department in Iowa ahead of the state’s caucuses.

He miraculously found the time and energy to organize a televised town hall. Judge Kaplan shared his condolences with the Trump family; however, he denied issuing Trump’s motion for a one-week delay to his civil trial.

Trump blasted the New York City judge by saying: “My wife’s mother who was an incredible woman, a great beauty inside and out, incredible woman, she just died and my wife is very devastated by that and I have a trial going on, a fake trial, totally fake trial, and we asked the judge if I could take a day off for the funeral of my mother-in-law who was very close to me also and he said ‘no.'”

In the midst of his angry tantrum, Trump hinted that Kaplan was behaving like an animal and added: “These are animals. These are bad people. These are radical left lunatics that want to hurt me because they think it’s going to hurt me at the polls so that Biden can win an election. I don’t think the people are going to fall for it.”

Trump also delivered a fiery post on Truth Social, writing: “Lewis Kaplan, the terrible, biased, irrationally angry Clinton-appointed Judge in the Bergdorf’s Hoax, refused to postpone the sham trial next week, even in light of the funeral of my beloved Mother-in-law.”

It has been confirmed that “Trump is not required to be at the trial,” but he wants to be present.

Trump also claimed that he will attend the funeral by writing: “I’ll be there, one way or the other I’ll be there.”

The former reality TV star is fighting in court while amassing political wins.
