Former President Donald Trump is discovering that some decisions are not set in stone, especially involving children on their journey to independence.
In almost all of Trump’s interviews, he talks about his youngest son, Barron Trump. The Billionaire real estate mogul loves to talk about the fact that the 18-year-old is tall.
The former reality TV star seemed adamant that his teen son would attend Ivy League University of Pennsylvania. In a recent interview with Megyn Kelly, Donald Trump revealed that the Wharton School was Barron’s school of choice.
He stated: “Barron’s very tall – about six-eight. And he’s a good kid. He’s a good-looking kid. He’s a great student, very good student. Melania and I are looking at the possibility of Barron attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.”
Donald Trump and almost all of his adult children received their diplomas from the University of Pennsylvania. Barron Trump plans to defy his father by choosing another school.
It is the end of the era as the young Barron has decided to stay in his birth state of New York to attend New York University.
The Daily Beast reports: “We hear that NYU is at the top of his list. The school is No. 35 on the U.S. News and World Report rankings, three miles from Trump Tower. Tuition and fees for a 2024 freshman come to $93,000—which Trump can probably afford, even with that $83 million judgment in his civil fraud case hanging over his head.”
This is another dilemma for Melania Trump, who has taken the motherly vow of protecting her son at all costs. It has been revealed that Barron Trump is Melania Trump’s top priority, and she will follow him wherever he decides to go to school.
This begs the question: will she stay in New York with her son again even if her husband wins reelection?
The Daily Beast explained: “But if he does enroll at NYU, and if Trump is elected, that will undoubtedly present a dilemma for mama Melania. Will she stay in New York to be close to Barron, to whom she is by all accounts devoted, or will she decamp to Washington, D.C., to spend the next four years with the man who allegedly cheated on her with a porn star soon after she gave birth to Barron? She’s definitely made herself scarce during the current trial, the genesis of which was the fling with Stormy Daniels.”
Mr. Trump husband is currently leading against President Joe Biden in general election polls.
