Melania Trump has her way of doing things; this week, she has demonstrated that nothing will change that.
The world watched as former President Donald Trump paraded in and out of a New York courtroom with many emotions on his tanned face.
Trump was dragged to court for forging business records to hide money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet about their alleged affair ahead of the 2016 election.
The extramarital sexcapade took place while Melania Trump was pregnant with Barron Trump. At the beginning of his trial, Trump looked defiant, angry, eager to prove the Democrats, district attorney, and Joe Biden had fabricated a witch hunt to prevent him from winning the 2024 presidential election.
As the evidence was laid bare, the witnesses, including Stormy Daniels and former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, took the stance; the prosecutor presented their arguments. Trump’s demeanor changed, and he appeared tired, sleepy, and miserable about his ordeal.
The weeks-long trial ended with a bang — the former president was found guilty of all 34 accounts. The pages of history are now being written about Trump becoming the first former US president to be criminally convicted.
Boiling with anger and strategically stimulating his base, Trump reacted to the guilty verdict with these words: “This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt. It’s a rigged trial, a disgrace.”
Former first daughter Ivanka Trump has reacted with a childhood picture of herself sitting on her father’s lap along with the words “I love you, Dad” and a heart emoji.
Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s eldest child, was in the room and gave his father a firm handshake and backrub upon hearing guilty 34 times.
He also wrote on X: “The Democrats have succeeded in their years-long attempt to turn America into a third-world s—hole.”
The businessman’s middle son, Eric Trump, took to X to proclaim that the guilty verdict was a win for his father.
He wrote: “May 30th, 2024, might be remembered as the day Donald J. Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election,” Eric Trump wrote.
Meanwhile, the world is still waiting to hear from former first lady Melania Trump. While Melania has yet to make any public statement about her husband’s guilty verdict, a source told PEOPLE that she feels nauseous about the poisonous situation.
The person claimed: “She has been angry about this whole thing for a long time. This [New York jury’s] decision is another layer of poison for her.”
Privately, Melania Trump is humiliated by the trial but is still very supportive of her husband and is even willing, if push comes to shove, to be in court in July during his sentencing hearing.
Trump could be hit with a multimillion-dollar fine, be slapped with probation, or pay the unlikely hefty price of up to four years in prison.
The insider claim: “There are certain times she has to show. This could be one of those, but it would not be her idea. To stand by her man in a traditional first lady way, no.”
Melania Trump finds the pill disgusting and toxic, but she will swallow it and continue to fight for her husband to become president so he can avoid jail time.
