Melania Trump has found herself moving from one dark place to another. The former first lady, who is still reeling from the loss of her mother, Amalija Knavs, has found herself living in a somber place along with her only son, Barron Trump.
Many are baffled to learn that Melania Trump chose to remain secluded within the confines of Trump Tower, not venturing out for even daylight for more than two weeks during Donald Trump‘s hush money trial.
The former president faced a grand jury that declared him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels over a sexual encounter when Melania Trump was pregnant with Barron Trump.
The former model and her family hoped the trial would have a different outcome. Melania Trump’s bubble burst when the guilty verdict was delivered.
An insider, who spoke to Page Six, explained that the news has shattered the businesswoman and other Trump family members, and they feel like they are preparing for another funeral.
A source told the media outlet: “Everyone has gathered around Trump at Trump Tower. It’s like a funeral … There was hope all day and then none!”
The insider added that the family wants to remain supportive, but the atmosphere has become heavy and gloomy.
The person in the know stated: “Everyone says Melania and the entire family are rallying around the former president. But the mood is nonetheless gloomy and gloomier right now. It’s definitely viewed as a downer at Mar-a-Lago.”
An insider added that the billionaire businessman had spoken to all his children after getting hit with the shocking verdict.
The source stated: “Everyone is upset. Trump talked to both Melania and all his children, including Ivanka. [But] Trump says the real verdict will occur in November when the people vote.”
Donald Trump has been very busy since the trial, declaring that it is business as usual and participating in meetings and campaign events.
However, those, who have seen Trump’s face and demeanor up close, claim that the brutal reality of his stained career and the uncertainty of his political life have taken a toll on him.
The person shared: “People who saw Trump go into the elevator in [Trump Tower] said he’s ‘finally looking older and tired.'”
In a recent interview, the former president confirmed that Melania and his children were struggling with the outcome.
Melania Trump and Barron Trump, 18, were spotted leaving New York for another property in Bedminster, New Jersey that belongs to her husband.
The former model will remain anxiously and uncomfortably holed up in New Jersey until her husband’s sentencing on July 11.
