After signing a bombshell deal with her husband, Melania Trump is now grappling with the possibility that she might have inadvertently paved the way for another woman.
Ivanka Trump has already sent flashing bright signals that she is ready to step in for Donald Trump in his bid to take the White House from President Joe Biden.
The former first daughter and businesswoman is the first family member to confirm that she will attend the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, next week.
A source revealed to Page Six: “Ivanka Trump will be in attendance to support her father when he officially accepts the Republican nomination for president.”
Ivanka Trump did not hesitate to show support for her father after he was found guilty by a New York jury on 34 counts of falsifying business records tied to a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 campaign.
Appearing on a podcast, Ivanka Trump explained that her heart breaks for her father as he deals with these mountains of legal issues.
She confessed: “On a human level, it’s my father, and I love him very much, so it’s painful to experience, but ultimately, I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
Meanwhile, Melania Trump has not spoken one word of support for her husband during his trials, arrests, and convictions.
According to Page Six, Melania Trump signed a fascinating deal with former President Donald Trump to become a part-time first lady if he beats Joe Biden in November.
Melania Trump is not eager to be in the White House full-time; she prefers to be with her son, Barron Trump, 18, who will attend college in New York.
A Trumpworld insider told the media outlet: “Melania has made a deal with her husband that if he wins the presidency, she will not have to be on first lady duty 24/7.”
The person added: “She’s a hands-on mother and is already planning to spend part of every month — and potentially every week — in NYC. She feels safe in NYC and in Trump Tower herself, and it’s Barron’s home, and that’s why she wants him to go to school in NYC. She can provide both emotional and physical support by being close. Everyone remembers how she delayed moving to Washington, DC until Barron finished school.”
This current arrangement seems reminiscent of 2017, when Melania and Ivanka were in a power struggle over the official role of the first lady.
Melania Trump remained in New York for Barron Trump to finish the school year, which created an opening for Invaka Trump, who relocated the offices to her liking and took over the role of the first lady by appearing at all events, meetings, and dinners with Donald Trump.
Melania Trump was furious at her stepdaughter’s moves. She arrived at the White House with great fanfare and booted her out.
Will Melania Trump put up a fight, or will she say Ivanka Trump can have her cake, take it, and eat it too?
