And she’s been a no-show when he’s greeted various foreign leaders who’ve visited recently—including Ukrainian President Zelensky, whose frosty Oval Office encounter with Trump and Vice President JD Vance made headlines last week. Her official FLOTUS Instagram account has just three posts, and her new East Wing staff remains small – less than a dozen people. She is yet to hire a social secretary.”
Some believe she took an extended break from her duties, while others firmly believe she was distancing herself from the drama surrounding Donald Trump.
However, the truth has been unmasked by the Daily Mail. Sources close to the former glamour model reported that she was in New York with her only son, Barron Trump.
According to the media outlet: “Melania is understood to have spent much of her time in recent weeks back in New York with Barron.”
Regardless of the consequences, Melania Trump is resolute in prioritizing her son, Barron. Navigating his first year of college as a teenager is already daunting, but being the son of Donald Trump adds a layer of complexity to Barron Trump’s life.
Case in point: Kaya Walker‘s recent interview with Vanity Fair, in which she claimed that the teenager was an oddity on campus due to his unique circumstances as the son of a high-profile political figure, and he appeared to have no friends. Walker is the former head of NYU’s College Republicans of America.
In an interview with Fox News, Melania Trump appeared to confront the rumor head-on by asserting that the first-year student does have friends and is welcome to have them over at the White House whenever they wish.
When asked about Barron having his friends at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Mrs Trump stated: “Whatever he would like to do. Yes.”
Mrs Trump added: “As children, we have them until they are like 18 or 19 years old. We teach them, guide them, and then give them the wings to fly. I always respect Barron’s yes and no, what he likes to do, and where he would like to be.”
The businesswoman shared: “It was his decision to come here that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home, and I respect that.”
