After U.S. President Donald Trump recently attacked late Arizona Senator John McCain in public, making multiple condemning statements about him, many responded negatively towards the former reality TV star.
The general sentiment was that it was a display of poor taste to attack a war hero and political opponent who is no longer here to defend himself.
However, Trump did not seem to care much about the negative responses in the media.
Some of Trump’s supporters seem to have taken matters into their own hands as well, and have started attacking people related to McCain.
Cindy McCain, the wife of the late senator, claims that she has received threatening and vulgar messages from people purporting to be Trump supporters.
However, instead of responding to the messages, she has instead decided to make matters public and has slammed her attackers while revealing their hateful words to the world.
One of them she posted on social media read: “Your husband was a traitorous piece of warmongering s*** and I’m glad he’s dead. Hope your Mrs. Piggy looking daughter chokes to death on the next burger she stuffs down her fat neck, too, c***.”

Some experts say it is strange that Trump has decided to reignite the old flames of rivalry between himself and John McCain, given that the latter is no longer around and cannot do anything to defend himself against the different accusations.
At the same time, some of the president’s supporters seem to agree with his stance, claiming that the current leader of the free world has every right to criticize his opponents even when they are no longer alive.
Trump is not showing any signs of slowing down since his recent attacks, although some are speculating that he may be gauging the responses before saying anything else.
The New York billionaire said this today: “I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted. I didn’t get a thank you. Not my kind of guy, but some people like him and I think that’s great.”
It is no secret at this point that this president is willing to go to great lengths to embarrass those he disagrees with and undermine their positions, and his recent statements against McCain have proven that nobody gets a pass in his world.
