Donald Trump’s White House Says Do Not Go Grocery Shopping During The Peak of Coronavirus Because The Country Is Facing A ‘Rough Next Two Weeks’

There is a new warning that was issued by the White House coronavirus task force to all Americans during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The virus has infected over one million people worldwide and killed almost 10,000 in the United States, with more than 312,000 affected by Sunday, which is now the highest in the world.

On Sunday, the group of medical experts and politicians strongly warned residents against going out of their homes in the next two weeks.

They advised people not to go out even if it is to buy groceries or medication. The reason why? Experts say that the pandemic is expected to hit a deadly apex in the coming two weeks.

White House coronavirus response coordinator Deborah Birx said during a press conference: “The next two weeks are extraordinarily important. This is the moment to not be going to the grocery store, not going to the pharmacy, but doing everything you can to keep your family and your friends safe.”

She added: “We’re very hopeful that over the next week, although we’ll see a rising number of cases of people who lose their lives to this illness, we’re also hopeful to see a stabilization of cases across these large metro areas where the outbreak began several weeks ago.”

President Donald Trump, who seems to have finally taken the coronavirus seriously after claiming it was a hoax, also warned Americans by saying: “This will probably be the toughest week – between this week and next week. There will be a lot of death; unfortunately, …there will be death.”

The Republican leader stated: “We see light at the end of the tunnel. Things are happening. We’re starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. And hopefully, in the not too distant future, we’ll be very proud of the job we all did. You can never be happy when so many people are dying, but we’re going to be very proud of the job we did to keep the death down to an absolute minimum.”

The real estate mogul concluded by: “What you’re hearing about potential light at the end of the tunnel doesn’t take away from the fact that tomorrow or the next day is going to look really bad.”

Experts say that things will get worse before they get better.
