Donald Trump Faced Nasty Rejection While Handling A Worrisome Situation In The South

Donald Trump‘s recent trip to South Carolina has some politicians claiming that he is more worried about one of his rivals than he truly wants to let on.

In late November, Trump left the comfort and luxury of his Mar-a-Lago Club for an appearance at a football game at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, where he was greeted by loud boos.

Taking to Truth Social, the former president defended himself by claiming it was a glorious moment, and he was welcomed as a hero.

According to a former congressman, the only reason why Trump would board a plane, stand in the harsh southern weather, and listen to the booing rejection of a crowd is because he is seriously worried about the political rise of Nikki Haley.

Haley, who served as the United States ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, was twice the governor of South Carolina.

While the list of candidates in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries for president is still long, Haley 51, who became a star thanks to Trump 77, is shining brighter than the others.

Nikki Haley has been dominating the debate stage with zingers against Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy.

She impressed voters with her knowledge of the topics and her ability to fight back when she is attacked by several opponents, sometimes at once.

Haley is also attracting the mega donors with deep pockets who have been fleeing Trump’s campaign, and her town halls are getting larger crowds.

Hailey is an accomplished woman, appears reliable, has gained ground in the polls on her rivals, is ready for the job, is young, and is not too stained for a politician.

Compared to Trump, who is viewed as old and controversial and is battling multiple court cases and investigations at the moment.

Former Republican Rep. Carlos Curbelo appeared with Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s Politics Nation where he said Trump is concerned by Haley’s success and added: “The reason he’s in South Carolina is because Donald Trump’s a little worried about Nikki Haley.”

The Florida politician added: “She’s been growing in the polls, and if he has to face her one-on-one in some of these early primary states, she could give him a run for his money.”

The Republican congressman might be truly painting a clear portrait of the situation: Haley has become a viable Republican alternative to Trump.

In the past few months, Trump has not been able to hide his feelings about Hailey and has gone on rants about her performance in the debates and the polls.

He has blasted Fox News for giving her positive coverage of the post-debates. Trump called Haley a “birdbrain” and added: “Former Fox Corp and News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch appears to have given up on a hopeless Ron DeSanctimonious, and is now pushing for Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley, an even more disloyal candidate than Ron.”

One political analyst has revealed that Hailey has more than a shot at beating Trump and clinching the nomination because they “are tied in the delegate count.”

Talking to NewsWeek, Republican strategist Matt Klink revealed: “As they say, ‘that’s why we play the game. If she finishes second in each, she can make the case that other GOP presidential aspirants should drop out early (now) so she can go head-to-head with Donald Trump.”

All seems to indicate that Trump should indeed be worried about Haley.
