Missing El Paso Mom, 29, Disappeared After Concert Date With Boyfriend — Police Sources Says She Is In Danger

Erika Andrea Gaytan El Paso Texas

29-year-old Erika Andrea Gaytan from El Paso, Texas has reportedly gone missing after going out on a date.

The woman’s family has allegedly been in touch with the man who was accompanying her, but he claimed that he left her after the Coliseum.

According to him, she then called an Uber. However, the woman’s family has expressed doubt in these statements, claiming that they do not believe she would call an Uber if she was out on a date.

They added that it was out of character for her not to contact her 7-year-old son, which cast shadows of doubt on the story provided by the man.

Viktor Renovato, the child’s father, told local media: “The last time I spoke to her was, she texted me, she told me, ‘Can you send me a picture of my son in the movies?’ So, I went ahead, 9:30 p.m. That was the last text I got. Anything she’s doing, she always has her phone. This is not like her. It’s not like her. When I have my son, she always calls me; she always texts me, she always calls me to talk to him.”

He continued with: “It’s been seven days. No mom. No nothing. He knows something is going on, and it’s heartbreaking. It’s a devastating week. She’s a really good mother. She’s been with my son, whatever he’s needed. My son loves her. So, she’s a really good person. The friendliest person that I could have met. I’m here, whatever they need. If it’s the police, the detectives, anybody who wants to talk to me, I’m more than happy to help out.”

However, investigators have been unable to determine more about the case, but they do believe that she could be in grave danger.

A missing person report has been filed earlier in the week, although authorities initially believed that there was no foul play in the situation.

However, they have since changed their stance, and are urging people with any possible leads to step forward and assist the investigation.

According to sources, Gaytan attended a concert at the El Paso County Coliseum with her boyfriend. After the show, they headed back to his residence in the 3600 block of Nehemiah.

The couple reportedly got into an argument, and the man claims she left the location in an Uber or walking. She contacted an acquaintance at 1:08 AM on July 14 telling them that she was on her way home.

The case has received a lot of attention on social media and other similar circles, although there has been little in the way of leads and possible suspects so far.

The identity of the man, who accompanied Gaytan on her date, is also not currently public, although that is probably for the best.

It is no secret that the Internet occasionally jumps to the wrong conclusions in sensitive cases like this one, and it is important to maintain a good air of privacy in this situation in order to avoid any unnecessary drama.
