Meghan Markle is unleashing her superpower, and members of the British royal family are shaking in their boots. Critics say Prince Harry‘s wife likes the sound of her own voice, and surprisingly she has found a large audience to listen to what she has to say.
With the success of the Archetypes podcast on Spotify, Markle is suddenly the one in control, and the royal family thinks that she can do some damage. To make matters worse, she has kept a diary during her stay at The Palace that she could quickly turn into a memoir.
Experts believe that Markle knows where some of the old secrets are buried, and she could hurt royals like Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles for the right price. Interestingly, Markle is the one who dropped the diary bombshell in a new interview with The Cut.
She told the journalist: “You go back, and you open drawers, and you’re like, Oh my gosh. This is what I was writing in my journal there?” The former actress got her hands on the diary during the trip to England for the Platinum Jubilee in June.
Some say that the statement does two things. First, it tells potential business partners that she still has more things to sell. Second, it is a form of a warning shot to the royal family, an easy way to keep them up at night.
Royal commentator and the author of Diana: The Caring Princess Margaret Holder has this to say on the surprising revelation: “She had enough time in the royal fold to learn secrets, some decades old, which could cause embarrassment and heartache for the Queen and her family, but could earn a fortune for Meghan.”
Moreover, a source close to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex has suggested to the media that a Markle tell-all book might be forthcoming after Prince Harry’s own memoir is published in 2023.
The insider shared with The Sun: “I’d be very surprised if Meghan wasn’t writing a book.” In the second episode of her podcast with pop music star Mariah Carey as a guest, Markle revealed that she was treated as a Black woman for the first time when she married Prince Harry.
Comments like these are not ideal for a royal family that has to tread lightly when it comes to matters of race and equality. A few experts believe that all of this is just the beginning of her plan for revenge.
Holder explained: “The revelation that Meghan rediscovered what she was writing in her journal at Frogmore Cottage must trigger warning signals to the Royal Family. For Meghan, a book about her time with the royals offers a great opportunity for settling scores, naming those who offended her, and hitting back at a system she didn’t understand and was unwilling to learn.”
Tom Bower, the author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, says that Markle knows no limits in terms of fulfilling her vengeful mission.
He told MailOnline: “From her position it’s an excellent tactic. She has taken the high ground, asserting her pristine righteousness, giving no quarter. It’s all about her greatness. Just as I described in my book, she is threatening the Royal Family with worse than her Oprah Winfrey interview That will be delivered during her visit to Britain next week and then in Harry’s book. Her revenge will be merciless.”
With Markle’s plans more or less out on the open, it will be interesting to see if Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton will be able to respond the right way.
