Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, are discovering that the roles have been reversed — and they need to accept it.
In their many interviews and projects, including a memoir and docuseries, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aired their grievances and explained that they were forced to leave England because they desperately needed to protect their mental health.
Meghan Markle confessed that members of her Royal Family failed to intervene when she was emotionally and psychologically unwell during her days as a working member of the monarchy.
Prince Harry teamed up with Oprah Winfrey for a series dedicated to mental health, and he took the opportunity to share some of the pain and suffering she endured for his father, King Charles III, and other members of his family.
King Charles has decided it is time to protect his sanity from the countless media controversies erupting between London and Montecito.
Rebecca English, a royal journalist for The Daily Mail, revealed that as King Charles mourns the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, his mother, he is feeling great pain over the situation with Prince Harry.
The royal expert shared: “Prince Harry is a subject that still brings His Majesty ‘great pain’. I am told there is currently ‘barely any level of communication’ between Charles and Harry.”
Prince Harry enumerated the heartaches caused by his family on TV, in a book, and on Netflix. A friend of King Charles has revealed that he too is suffering after watching Prince Harry bring down his wife, Queen Camilla, and cause Queen Elizabeth distress in her final years.
The writer went on to say: “There is undeniable anger at the anguish the King believes Harry caused the late Queen in the last years of her life, not to mention the insults he has heaped upon his own wife Camilla, of whom Charles is understandably protective.”
The almost 75-year-old Monarch has no plans to confront Prince Harry or apologize to him or Meghan Markle.
He is focused on the job of being a monarch. She revealed: “Charles is a man who notoriously hates confrontation and will never close the door on his younger son. But sticking to his guns, he has rejected Harry’s demands for an ‘apology’ and put the whole issue to one side for the time being as he concentrates on the business of the state.”
To protect his peace of mind, King Charles will not allow his guests to talk about Prince Harry and Markle at his birthday celebration.
According to the Express: “Not only will the King hold a lavish reception at Clarence House on November 14, but he will also make an appearance at a charity event at Highgrove a day earlier. It has been made very clear that Sussex discussions are firmly off the table at both events.”
The power couple is trying to make amends, but the charm offensive appears not be working.
