In the description of the photo, Jessica explained that she and her partner could see the emergency helicopters flying over their home, and she felt the loss.
Furthermore, the singer wrote that she felt the power in the sky of the heavens parting to make room for the greatest of angels to rise.
In the conclusion of her caption, Jessica also stated her heart was broken for all the families and loved ones that were left behind, and she did not forget to mention Kobe’s longtime partner, Vanessa Bryant, as she described her as “the woman and wife that championed your husband to greatness.”

She wrote: “Eric took this photo from our backyard right after the accident happened where Kobe, his daughter, and other beautiful souls were lifted up to be with God for eternity. We could see the emergency helicopters flying over our house, and I felt the loss. I felt the power in the sky of the heavens parting to make room for the greatest of angels to rise.”

Many have responded positively to Simpson’s words and have shared their own comments of encouragement. One person stated: “Wow, Jess, ❤️ it seems the heavens were waiting for them with open arms. I have Goosebumps looking at the light.”
This fan pointed to the same thing — the nine beams: “There are exactly 9 beams of light as well… chills?Wow. This is so comforting ?❤️ , thank you for noticing and sharing. ?”
Another commenter stated: “I saw the same thing nine beams of light & if you look in the clouds, it looks almost like there is an open spot with Jesus with his arms open. It’s a beautiful picture. I haven’t got enough lips to say sorry for your loss, given the level of loss it is, but Kobe and Gianna are definitely with God. ?”
Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, has thanked the millions of fans who showed love and support during this difficult time.
The bodies have been released to the family, so they start making funeral plans — fans are hoping for a public goodbye at the house that Kobe and his immense talent built — The Staples Center home of the Lakers.
