Royal tongues are getting loose and are now spilling the tea about what truly happened between King Charles III and Prince Harry at the coronation ceremony.
The media and millions of people believed that Prince Harry traveled to London and rushed back to California without seeing or talking to King Charles, Prince William, or any other senior royals.
It was claimed that King Charles had a tight schedule and could not spare a moment to meet his youngest son, who had been causing havoc on the royals with his interviews, book, and series.
However, it has now been revealed that King Charles made time to meet and talk with Prince Harry. It is believed that the two men had a face-to-face during a secret family dinner the night before the coronation.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children are not believed to have attended the private gathering.
However, other royals, including Princess Anne and her children, were present. Of course, Prince Harry did not share his grievances with his father. And he certainly did not ask His Majesty to apologize to him and Meghan Markle.
It appears that Prince Harry laid down his plans for the coronation and explained the reasons why he would not attend any of the post-coronation events.
Nick Bullen, editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, revealed: “My understanding is he didn’t have any interactions with the Prince or Princess of Wales but that he did have a conversation with his father the night before.”
Talking about the intimate dinner that took place at a private venue, he shared: “The Yorks went to it; Princess Anne went to it with her children. … so a lot of the extended Royal Family were at this private dinner, and there were no shots of Harry arriving at that dinner. It looks like he didn’t go. Maybe he came through the back door; who knows? But it appears that he kept a very, very low profile during the whole piece.”
Prince Harry felt it was necessary to explain himself not to ruffle feathers.
The royal expert stated: “Until the morning, nobody really knew what Harry’s plans were going to be for that afternoon. I think everybody knew he had a plane to catch. Everybody knew he intended to get home, but there was a hope, I think, that he might be part of some of the family celebrations back at the palace.”
The commentator went on to share that there is a big possibility that Prince Harry was saddened by the fact that he could not participate in more events.
He shared: “So, I think that there was a sadness that he wasn’t part of the fuller day, but, you know, they all knew he was gonna get on that plane.”
According to Bullen, he doubts that Meghan Markle will be returning to England anytime soon.
He stated: “There seems to be no reason for him to come back to London anytime soon. Meghan certainly is showing no interest in coming back.”
It is not certain that the meeting is enough to restore peace between the two sides.
