Wanted Woman Argues Her ‘Trailer Trash’ Mug Shot On Facebook Was Taken From A Bad Angle

Tiffany-Anne Brislane Mug Shot Comments Australia

Tiffany-Anne Brislane, an Australian woman, from Wallsend, who has been evading police justice for stealing offenses, made headlines when she criticized the mug shot that was used by authorities to depict her.

Apparently, according to 23-year-old Brislane, police officers from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia chose a picture of her in which she was not presented in her best light.

In the photograph, which was posted by police on Facebook, the young woman could be seen looking sadly to the camera, with her hair being tied in a messy bun.

On the snap, the criminal’s tattoo is visible, and it reads, “We don’t remember days, we remember moments.”

The mug shot was also accompanied by the message that stated police officers were interested only in information about Brislane’s whereabouts and asked people to refrain from making prejudicial or offensive comments.

It appears that the message was not taken into account, because soon after the appearance of the snap, a lot of users of the popular social media platform wrote numerous insults.

Apparently, at some point Brislane saw the image too and could not let it go, because she also commented on the post by stating that the photo was taken many years ago (2015), she did not look like “trailer trash” every day, and the snap was not taken from a good angle.

She wrote: “Loving the photo taken how many years ago. Let’s calm down on the comments, guys. It’s not every day I look like trailer trash. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good angle, shall we.”

The Australian’s comment was noticed, and the police’s answer was to advise her to walk into a police station before she was found by authorities.

However, Brislane’s reply was to share a newer picture of her as she updated her Facebook profile with an actual photograph.

She added: “Here’s an actual pic of me. Let’s take the time to acknowledge this is not my current Newcastle police page photo they’ve decided to upload from 2015.”

It is not clear if the alleged fugitive had a change of heart after the story had gone viral, but she did not really win any supporters.

Moreover, some have reported that an arrest was made in the case, but there is no official word out yet.
