Khloé Kardashian is fighting back after a woman dropped a mean comment on Twitter and criticized her for her many plastic surgeries and for looking like “an alien” in a TV advertisement she appeared in earlier this year.
The 36-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is often fending off criticisms over her looks, and this time, it came in the form of a Twitter post months after the advertisement originally aired in March.
The advert was for Nurtec ODT, a pharmaceutical company that provides medication for people suffering from migraines.
The social media user reposted the short video clip this week and sarcastically questioned whether research indicated that more plastic surgery procedures made a person more likely to suffer from migraines.
They also asked “what kind of pharmaceutical company” would choose a spokesperson who looks like “an alien” due to having “so much plastic surgery.”
The critic penned this message: “Does research indicate that the more plastic surgery someone has, the more likely they are to suffer from migraines? What kind of pharmaceutical company chooses someone who has had so much plastic surgery they look like an alien, as their spokesperson?”
Khloé was quick to reply to the criticism on Twitter, telling the user she was “sorry” they felt that way but that everyone is “entitled” to their opinion.
She then slammed the user by telling them she did not think they should “refer to [themselves] as a feminist” if they were “attacking a woman unprovoked.”
The fashion designer said: “Sorry you feel that way. You have every right to block/mute me. I am trying to help many out there who suffer in silence. I R [sic] completely entitled to your opinions. Just as I am mine. I don’t think you should refer to yourself as a feminist if you are attacking a woman unprovoked.”
Khloé — who was seen sitting on the sofa before being joined later in the video by her daughter, True Thompson — has denied having plastic surgery in the past but has admitted to having lip fillers.
She is also known to use filters to enhance her appearance in photographs and videos and wear thick makeup for public appearances.
Many of the photos posted to her social media are heavily edited before being uploaded, to the extent that earlier this year, the Kardashian-Jenner communications team frantically tried to remove every trace of an unedited shot of Khloé, which was reported to be accidentally shared on social media.
