Mary Trump recently did an interview where she spoke about some of the dangerous plans that Donald Trump might enact if he does not have his way.
The psychologist and best-selling author appeared on MSNBC to talk about Trump’s mountain of legal issues and the consequences they might have on his 2024 presidential campaign.
Trump and his army of lawyers have been dealing with a lengthy court battle against NY Attorney General Letitia James, who believes that he “engaged in years of extensive financial fraud to enrich himself and cheat the system.”
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is also under investigation via a grand jury for attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Unwilling to concede to Joe Biden after losing his second bid to the White House, Trump made an infamous post-election phone call to Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, where he pleaded with him to “find” the number of votes he needed to overturn the election results in the state.
According to CNN, Trump is in for a rude awakening because the panel is set to recommend multiple indictments against him and his associates.
During the sit-down with MSNBC host Katie Phang, Mary Trump predicted that her uncle would react brutally to the indictment.
Mary Trump stated that the former president would once again call on his supporters to act violently and added: “I have my dark days where I am not entirely sure that indictments are going to come. But if indeed they do — and I agree with you, the first one probably would come out of Georgia — hopefully, many more shoes will drop.”
The author of Too Much and Never Enough went on to warn about her uncle’s cruel thoughts by saying: “In the meantime, we are … sort of in this state of suspended animation, and more and more people are continuing to be fooled by outlets like Fox [News], and think that something’s been stolen from them, Donald, of course, will use any opportunity to incite more violence if he thinks it suits him, so we are not out of the woods yet.”
She concluded by saying: “We still need to be prepared for all eventualities.”
Members of the grand jury convened for over seven months and heard testimonies from 75 witnesses, including some close allies of Donald Trump who were part of his administration.
Emily Kohrs, a foreperson of the Atlanta-based grand jury, told CNN that the panel would recommend multiple indictments.
She also revealed that the justice system would catch up to Trump and added: “Can you imagine doing this for eight months and not coming out with a whole list of recommended indictments? It’s not a short list. It’s not.”
Kohrs also confirmed that the jury did listen to the recordings of Trump’s telephone conversation with Brad Raffensperger.
Kohrs stated: “Yes, I am positive I have heard the president on the phone more than once.”
Mr. Trump is seeking the 2024 nomination.
