Ella Emhoff showed the world her stylish taste in fashion as she watched her stepmother, Kamala Harris, being sworn in as the next Vice President of the US this week.
She also went viral after a YouTube video showed her making her eyebrows dance while standing next to former President Barack Obama.
The 21-year-old is currently studying fashion at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan where she is in her final year.
And it seems her skills are being put to good use in her own wardrobe, as she stepped out onto the balcony at the Capitol on Wednesday with a stylish dress and tweed coat.

Pairing a purple dress by Batsheva Hay with a long tweed white-collared coat from last year’s Miu Miu collection, the outfit outlined her figure and exaggerated her shoulders with material covered with a variety of embellishments.
She wore a black face mask, black headband, and black gloves as she joined the rest of the Emhoff-Harris family for the historic occasion.
She was photographed next to her older brother, Cole, 26, who wore a blue suit covered by a long black coat and a white face mask. She also posed with her mother, Kerstin Emhoff, for a few photos that were later shared on Instagram.
Ella Emhoff’s dress, which follows the typical prairie style which New York designer Batsheva Hay is known for, was just one of many purple frocks seen during the inaugural ceremony.
Many have taken to social media to praise Ella Emhoff for her unique and fresh sense of style. “And just like that, a spontaneous fashion ICON! ??” wrote a backer.
“Mama is here to play! First the Mui Mui now she’s in Thom ?????????? go off sis. She knits dope sweaters and hats too! By far the most fashionable inauguration to date,” stated a social media user.
Kamala Harris herself wore a bright purple-colored outfit, alongside previous Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
The color is thought to symbolize bipartisanship as it combines red and blue — the colors traditionally associated with the two political parties in the US; the Democrats and the Republicans.
Many have remarked that purple was a particularly popular choice this year as political figures seek to unify the country following the allegations of fraud around the election last year and the riots which took place at the Capitol earlier this month.
