King Charles III has decided that the truth about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be revealed, even if it means breaking protocol.
This week, an unflattering report surfaced via The Guardian and PEOPLE Magazine, explaining that King Charles has yet to take significant steps to complicate the lives of his two American British grandchildren.
It was confirmed to the media outlets that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had requested two British passports for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The children already held British and American passports under the Mountbatten-Windsor surname. However, Prince Harry and Markle made the new applications because they wanted the passports to reflect their latest titles, HRH (Their Royal Highness), which were awarded to Archie and Lilibet when their grandfather ascended the throne.
According to The Guardian, Markle and Prince Harry faced a lengthy and costly battle to obtain the passports. According to one of the sources who spoke to the press: “There was a clear reluctance to issue passports for the kids. The delay was significantly longer than normal.”
A person who spoke to The Guardian added: “The government officials were dragging their feet because the passport applications included the titles HRH (Their Royal Highness) for both children.”
The Sussex source was clear and direct, claiming that King Charles was the person who made it his mission to block his grandchildren from obtaining what are their birthright.
The insider said via The Guardian: “The King hadn’t wanted Archie and Lili to carry the titles; most of all, the HRH and the British passports, once created, would be the first and perhaps the only legal proof of their names.”
The source also shared with The Guardian: “Harry was at a point where British passports for his children with their updated Sussex surnames (since the death of Queen Elizabeth II) were being blocked with a string of excuses over five months.”
King Charles, livid by the accusation that he influenced the delay in his grandchildren’s passport, has issued a strong one-word denial via Buckingham Palace, refuting any involvement in the matter.
The Daily Telegraph reports: “However, Buckingham Palace strongly denied that the King or palace aides had anything to do with the delays in issuing their passports.Asked if the palace had made any suggestions or objections to the documents being issued with the HRH titles, a spokesman said, “No.” British officials explained that the delay was due to “technical issues.”
The two sides are figting hard on every issue.
