Every aspect of Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral was scrutinized. Many were surprised that former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama were not invited.

A lot of ink was spilled on why Kate Middleton and Prince William had their young children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the religious ceremony.

Meghan Markle and Princess Charlotte crying at the funeral also received a lot of reaction.

And lip readers worldwide rushed to understand the surprising exchange between Prince Harry and his older brother, Prince William.

However, one of the topics that sparked the most heated debate was the seating arrangement. Trump ridiculed President Joe Biden for being seated in the 14th row.

He claimed that Biden is weak; therefore, he is treated as such by the British Monarchy.

Headlines everywhere screamed that King Charles III snubbed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they were not seated in the front row with the “important royals.”

The seating arrangements had Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the second row behind King Charles, Camilla, Queen Consort, Anne, Princess Royal, and Andrew.

Markle and Prince Harry were next to Princess Anne’s children — Zara and Peter.

Many believed that King Charles again made a deliberate move to humiliate and punish Markle and Prince Harry, who created drama for the royal family with “Megxit” and their Oprah Winfrey interview.

However, King Charles has made it clear that there was no snub at the California-based royals.

Sources inside Buckingham Palace spoke directly to The Daily Beast and explained the seating arrangement during the funeral had nothing to do with Prince Harry’s estrangement from the British royal family.

The source explained that King Charles decided to arrange the seats by age.

The Palace confirmed: “…apart from Prince William (40), who is now first in line to the throne, other grandchildren of the monarch had been seated in age order, with Peter (44) and Zara (41) being put in the front row ahead of second-row occupants Harry (38), Beatrice (34), and Eugenie (32).”

The insider went on to tell The Daily Beast that King Charles is not trying to divide the family and added: “The order was approximately age order but trying not to split families up.”

Royal expert and Daily Mail Columnist Richard Kay confirmed that King Charles is indeed hoping for family unity as Queen Elizabeth’s era comes to an end and his reign begins.

He revealed: “Charles’s hope is that having been so much part of the spectacular events of the past week and a half, his son finally realizes that the qualities of duty and service celebrated in the national outpouring of heartfelt affection for the Queen are the true measure of popularity.”

It is unclear that the new King will get his way.
