Charli D’Amelio, the biggest TikTok sensation, has released a video where she is weeping while trying to explain the controversial clip that caused her to lose over one million followers on the social media platform.
The 16-year-old TikTok star landed in hot water this week after she shared a viral video on YouTube where she is having dinner with her family and makeup guru James Charles.
Charli, her parents, Marc and Heidi, her sister, Dixie, sat down for a big dinner prepared by personal chef Aaron May in a YouTube series called Dinner With the D’Amelios.
The dinner grabbed headlines because of the snarky comment made by the sisters about Aaron’s cooking. Charli also appeared arrogant in the video while talking about her success.
Charli, who boasted of 100 million followers, listened to the renowned chef explain the background of the paella meal he served only to make an unexplainable remark.
Aaron stated: “It’s classic paella, and it’s actually an omen of good luck and fortune. ”
A snotty Charli blurred out, liars, and crossed her arms.
Another awful moment featured Dixie turning to her 43.8 million followers, explaining that she was about to vomit after eating the snails prepared by the chef.
The teen covered her mouth after a fail attempt to throw up and ran out to spit out the food in front of the chef.
She also told him: “I threw up; that was not good.” The complicit mother failed to call out her daughter and simply noted: “That was a very dramatic scene.”
The personal chef who has appeared on Food Network and is in the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame as a “Chef Extraordinaire” was told by the Internet star if it was possible to have “dino nuggets” instead.
Charli complained about her 99.5 million followers and asked why is it she has not reached 100 million yet.
She lamented: “Ugh, I just wish I had more time because imagine if I hit 100 mil one year after hitting a mil.”

James responded: “95 million not enough for you?” Charli hit back with: “Well I was just like saying like, even numbers.”
Charli and her family were bashed with mean and disappointing comments, and almost one million followers left.
Marc, a Republican politician, defended his family, and Dixie did the same with this lengthy explanation: “Hey guys, if you are coming here to comment hate like this, maybe hold on one second and know the full story. I’m so grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve had, so I would never in any way want to be taken as disrespectful, especially from an out-of-context 15-second clip. So basically, my team knows I throw up a lot. I could throw up at the smell, the thought, or the taste of anything. So, when they saw the snails, they were like, ‘Oh, let’s get her and try to see if we can get a reaction out of her.”
She went on to say: “I love Chef [May], and I would never disrespect him in any way and maybe don’t judge someone’s personality over a 15-second video.”
Charli posted a tearful video where she threatened to leave TikTok.
