Prince Harry‘s upcoming book Spare has King Charles III on high alert because he believes the revelations will cause significant trouble to his monarchy, reign, and overall reputation.

Spare will be out on January 10, and according to the royal author and expert Valentine Low, Prince Harry rejected the suggestion of at least one family friend who reached out to him and pleaded with him to remove some of the revelations in the tell-all memoir.

The book was completed over five months before Queen Elizabeth‘s death, and before Prince Charles became King.

That implies that Prince Harry did not factor in that some of the secrets he would reveal to the world would damage King Charles’s coronation and reign.

Thus far, no one outside the publishing company or Prince Harry’s camp has seen the book.

However, the few, who have been given access to the manuscript, say the content might be highly destructive for the British monarchy and even bring up conversations about abdication.

According to The Daily Beast and Yahoo, there is a list of thorny topics that Prince Harry can tackle that will leave King Charles with endless speculations and humiliations.

It is predicted that Prince Harry will deal with King Charles’s neglect of his sons, the crumbling marriage of his parents, and the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and Camilla, Queen Consort‘s affair.

However, one of the most hurtful topics that might be covered in the book is King Charles’s unsuitability as Monarch and his potential abdication.

Prince Harry might share his mother’s view on the matter. Via the Daily Beast, Prince Diana revealed the following in a BBC interview that Charles was not cut for the throne.

According to the publication: “Asked if Charles wanted to be King, she said, “There was always conflict on that subject with him when we discussed it, and I understood that conflict because it’s a very demanding role, being Prince of Wales, but it’s an even more demanding role being King. And being Prince of Wales produces more freedom now, and being King would be a little bit more suffocating. And because I know the character, I would think that the top job, as I call it, would bring enormous limitations to him, and I don’t know whether he could adapt to that.”

Here is the follow-up question: “Asked if the Crown should skip a generation, she said: “William’s very young at the moment, so do you want a burden like that to be put on his shoulders at such an age? So I can’t answer that question…My wish is that my husband finds peace of mind, and from that follows others things, yes.”

The publication noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not push the abdication chatter for self-preservation.

The media outlet claimed: “While it is probably not in Harry’s long-term interests to reveal something so devastating that it forces the king to abdicate (even if he had the receipts), it is, whether the Sussexes like it or not, their ability to dish on the royals that are their most valuable product.”

At this point, no one knows the consequences of that highly-anticipated book.
