Things remain tricky around “I Believe I Can Fly” singer R. Kelly on the legal side, as he still has some tough challenges ahead of him, especially with regards to some of his charges.

And while his girlfriends — Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary — have been on board with him the whole time and have been supporting him actively, it looks like at least one of them has decided that the entire situation has been a bit too much for her.

Clary has chosen to leave her residence at the Trump Tower, reportedly because of all the legal drama around her boyfriend, which she could not endure any longer.

What is Clary planning to do now? Reports indicate that she wants to work on her own life and will be focusing on it for a while.

Whether that involves keeping Kelly in the picture or moving on ultimately is hard to tell, but it does seem like things between the two might be on thin ice right now.

Some of the Chicago crooner’s fans have already expressed their concerns that his relationships with his girlfriends might start to fall apart due to his legal troubles, and that does seem to be already happening.

While the 52-year-old father of three was initially confident in his ability to overcome the situation, he has been getting less and less so over time, at least on the public front — to the point where many are now wondering if the R&B legend still wants to continue his legal battles all the way or if he will take a plea deal.

Kelly is also facing a new bribery charge, this has to do with the Aaliyah marriage case that occurred in 1995. The feds will be able to rest their case on the testimony of Kelly’s former tour manager, Demetrius Smith, who will say that he is the one who got the fake id that opened the door to the short-lived union.

Smith still argues that he does not think that Kelly should be convicted. However, he thinks that the controversial artist needs help to deal with his mental health issues.

Smith stated: “I was in the room when they got married. I’m not proud of that. I had papers forged for them when Aaliyah was underaged. It was just a quick little ceremony. She didn’t have on a white dress. He didn’t have on a tux. Just every day wear. She looked worried and scared.”

Some experts say that Kelly will have a hard time beating those cases, eleven years after triumphing over her child pornography charges.
