King Charles Keeps One Brutal Christmas Tradition For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

King Charles III decided to keep one brutal Christmas tradition going strong, which was unhappy news for two rebellious royals.

This year, there will be no beating around the bush; PEOPLE Magazine has confirmed that King Charles has not invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend the Royal Family’s traditional gathering for the year-end festivities.

His Majesty made that decision to preserve his mental and physical health. A source tells PEOPLE: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not received an invitation to this year’s royal Christmas gathering at Sandringham. The couple are expected to spend the holidays in the U.S.”

In the past five years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become a great source of headaches for King Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla because they decided to expose the monarchy’s secrets.

The Monarch, who is battling cancer, and Kate Middleton, who recently went through some health troubles, are not interested in having any drama and chaos from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the holiday season.

Markle, anticipating King Charles’s decision, took the media preemptively to maintain her dignity by delightfully revealing what she and Prince Harry planned for the holidays.

The Duchess revealed her determination to create a joyful Christmas for her family. She and Prince Harry are planning a low-key celebration in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Talking to Marie Claire during a charity event, Meghan Markle stated that holidays will be family-oriented with good food, fun games, and the creation of memories.

She told the media outlet: “I love the holidays. Archie and Lilibet are now three and five, so every year, it gets better. At first, I think as a mom with children, you just enjoy having them there, but they don’t understand everything that’s happening yet. But now we are at the age where I just wait to see it through their lens every year.”

Markle revealed that all holidays are a big adventure for the whole family. She stated: “We’re always making sure we have something fun to do. Like any other family, you spend time having a great meal, and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar—fun. Every single holiday is a new adventure.”

Markle emphasizes the importance of her “children experiencing the magic of traditions like great recipes that they end up connecting to a formative memory at Thanksgiving and putting out carrots for the reindeer at Christmas.”

This is a clever way to save face.
