Singer Sela Vave, who is 21 years old or 19 depending on whom you ask, is now living with Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx, 51, in his Thousand Oaks, Calif., mansion after the end of his 6-year relationship with actress Katie Holmes, 40.
The living arrangement is creating a lot of mess and grabbing headlines left and right after Foxx was seen holding Vave’s hand over the weekend as they were leaving a night club in Los Angeles. The comedian seemed very protective of the young woman.
Despite the coziness, Foxx is adamant that there is nothing going on between them and he is just helping out an aspirant artist find her way in the industry.
Frustrated by the rumors, Foxx put out an Instagram video to clarify things. In it, he says: “When I met Ed Sheeran, I didn’t know him from Adam. He slept on my couch for six weeks. Nick Cannon was 13 years old, he used to sleep at my old house … everybody come to my crib.”
He continued with: “I did the same thing with her … We took her under our wing … We wanted to treat her the same way and give her the opportunity. [This is] a double standard.”
Foxx then pointed out: “I spoke to that girl’s mom, and she put her trust in me. We don’t ever cross lines like that, personal. I wanted to let you know, for all who were scandal chasing, that’s our artist, that’s our family … We are working.”

The talented movie star also said that his daughter, Corinne Foxx, 25, is actually older than Vave.
The young artist tried to defend her good name after getting called a “whore, slut, homewrecker, thot, gold digger,” after Holmes split from Foxx. Vave insists, “it doesn’t matter to me — I’m out here to work and do what I love most.”

To her defense, Holmes was heard telling her girlfriends, “What Jamie does is his business — we haven’t been together for months.” If the former couple broke up months ago, Vave might not be the one responsible for it.
Online commenters are still on the fence about the whole drama.
One person stated: “Everyone will remember you as the hoe who slept with Jamie Foxx for fame, no matter what you do.”
A defender argued: “Love how Jamie said he isn’t some old head creeping with girls that are young…..Diddy needs to take notes….he should be ashamed of himself dating Lori Harvey…..smh.”
A critic stated: “The more they den…..? Come on! You must think we’re all fools. Personally, I don’t care, but I read about this video and now have to laugh some more. Young women with rich old guy is a story since the start of time. Enjoy the brief fame.”
It is not clear that Foxx really achieved anything by putting out this video; his alleged romance with Vave is now getting more attention.
