Meghan Markle has decided to sit the newest family drama out. Prince Harry will soon be heading to the UK without his wife, Meghan Markle, for a big reason.

The royal will head to London to appear and testify at the High Court trial against News Group Newspapers (NGN). One thousand three hundred people, including some famous figures, initially sued the media giant, claiming invasion of privacy by allegedly using illegal tactics such as hacking to obtain their initial information.

And they have all settled except Prince Harry and former Labour deputy leader, Lord Tom Watson.

Prince Harry defended his decision to continue the lawsuit during an interview, saying that it is not just about his own privacy but also about holding the media accountable for their actions and preventing similar invasions of privacy in the future.

Prince Harry said: “They’ve settled because they’ve had to settle. Therefore, accountability is one of the main reasons for seeing this through, as I’m the last person who can achieve that.”

Before Prince Harry even sets foot in his native country, he has created tension with his father, King Charles III.

The 75-year-old Monarch, who is battling cancer, made an effort to offer an olive branch to his son, but he declined.

According to The Mirror, Prince Harry, who will be in the UK for several days, has been offered a room at Buckingham Palace.

The outlet reported: “It is understood that Harry was offered a place to stay at Buckingham Palace but turned it down.”

Prince Harry would receive all the perks of being King Charles’s son — the staff and the security during his stay. However, he has declined his father’s invitation.

It is suggested that Prince Harry is retaliating against King Charles, who declined to invite him and his family to the UK for Christmas.

It was confirmed that after the brutal and double health whammies for the royals — Kate Middleton was diagnosed with a serious illness in 2024, and King Charles, who is battling cancer, also faced a health scare — His Majesty chose peace and love for holidays.

Unhappy with his family’s decision to exclude and punish him for his insatiable appetite for drama, Prince Harry responded by turning down the invite.

It is not believed that Prince Harry will meet with King Charles or Prince William during his stay in England.

Each day, the divide grows more profound and broader in the family.
