Lil Wayne and his former fiancée, La’Tecia Thomas, might have quietly ended their one-year engagement, but that is not stopping the model from turning on the heat on social media.
Recently, the curvaceous blue-eyed influencer revealed that she and the legendary rapper had split by ditching her massive multi-million dollar engagement ring.
The Instagram model also let the world know by no longer wearing the “Carter” necklace previously gifted by the Young Money MC.
Lil Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. La’Tecia has also unfollowed the “How to Love” artist and all of his fan pages on Instagram.
Lil Wayne has also stopped following La’Tecia on Instagram. The former couple did not say when nor why they went their separate ways, but rumors claim it might be because of the Kimberly Rose scandal.
Kimberly went after Lil Wayne for allegedly abusing her. She shared numerous private messages she received while she was with the artist and threatened to write a tell-all book.
Lil Wayne confirmed he was dating La’Tecia on his new album, Funeral, via a song, (“Stop Playin With Me”), where he called her “wifey from Australia.”
Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, had also shared a few sweet comments about her future stepmother. After the split, La’Tecia dropped a few head-turning photos to show off her famous figure.
Fans have been sharing their theories about the breakup on social media.
A person, who is not at all surprised, said: “It looks like putting Weezy and wife in the same sentence will be on hold until further notice. ??? I hope you got your ring back playa.?”
This Instagrammer had this following explanation for the split: “Damn he was probably cheating cause he is known for cheating ???♀️ Damn.. they didn’t really same like a good match on a surface level, though. I watch her YouTube channel sometimes & it seemed like an off match.”
A social media user made this revelation: “And they say White women are easier to deal with, go along with anything, etc. Okay, I’ll take difficult for $1 mil before I stand around like a fool, watch a man I’m engaged to have kids by a busload of women. If Black men love these types, please ladies keep them. ?”
One supporter posted this message which sparked a debate: “He’s so destructive this guy has been engaged to be married so many times, and he never gets to walk down that aisle! He has major issues within himself. It’s almost like he likes the idea of being normal but then quickly realizes he’s off this world and his temptations out way having a normal life and doing the right thing, like settling down and have a normal life. I don’t believe he will ever be able to accomplish this, although it seems he wants that badly he just can’t control himself!”
