Fans of the royal family of Monaco have nothing to complain about, as Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene surprised their followers on social media with a new photograph of their children — Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
The gorgeous picture showed the 5-year-old twins on their first day of the new school year standing in front of Stella School.
In the photo, Princess Gabriella appears to be gently tucking her brother’s hair behind his ears.
This is the first time that the young royals are back to school after staying at home for half a year as a result of the ongoing pandemic crisis.
Titled with “Back to school for Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella,” the snap quickly gathered thousands of likes and numerous positive comments.
However, the majority of the fans were mostly impressed by the way Gabriella was caring about her twin.
One excited supporter stated, “Happy back to school to these two beautiful children, great tenderness between brother and sister,” while another follower also praised the twins: “They are cute, and what protective gestures Princess Gabriella always has for her brother.”
The new picture of the twins is the first one since July when Princess Charlene posted a snap of the kids from their vacation on her Instagram profile.
Captioned with “Happy Holidays” and a sun emoji, the photograph showed the twins enjoying some family time on the beach.
Even though the destination of the snap remains a mystery, it was reported that Princess Charlene and her children visited Calvi on the island of Corsica during the summer.
A backer of the royal family had this to say: “They’re so sweet???, But I don’t like Gabriella’s new haircut.??”
This social media user revealed in the comment section: “I wish LLAASS the Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella an excellent return to school. May God and Saint Devote always protect you and the entire Princely Family.”
This follower shared: “Gabriella is taking care of her brother Jacques !!! This little one is too cute, and so is her brother. I think she will have character!!! I love it. Finally, the very simple and super beautiful little prince and princess, thank you, parents.”
Prince Albert II has recently turned some of his attention to environmental activism with his Foundation’s 4th annual Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health, where music legend Sting was honored.
Actress Helen Mirren hosted the event.
