Kirstie Alley Lists Surprising Reason She Is Backing President Donald Trump; Critics Say Trumpism And Scientology Are Cults

Kirstie Alley Scientology President Donald Trump Vote

Kirstie Alley is a proud Republican who is not afraid to take on Democrats who tell her that she is wrong to back President Donald Trump and some of his controversial policies.

The conservative actress took to Twitter on Saturday, where she started a war of words with her followers while talking about politics, the presidential election, and the state of the country.

The former Veronica’s Closet and Cheers star surprised many by giving the reason why she will vote for Trump again.

The TV personality claimed that Trump is not a politician, and he has what it takes to fix the economy. Therefore, she will support him as she did four years ago despite the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and economic meltdown.

The producer made this comment: “I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician. I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason. He gets things done quickly, and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it, folks there.”

Many on social media pointed to the fact that Trump has been president for the past four years, and he could have fixed the economy.

Others asked Alley where are the president’s plans to “turn the economy around” in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

A few voters slammed Trump for mishandling the health crisis that killed almost a quarter of a million people in the United States.

One social media user had this to say about the Tweet: “Can you give me a fact-checked list of 10 items he did? Here are a few things he didn’t do. Infrastructure. Health plan. Build a wall (replacing doesn’t count). Deficit. Bring back manufacturing. Make no cuts to medicare. Grow the economy. Guarantee 6 weeks paid leave.”

Another commenter mocked Alley with this remark: “I am hiring my friend because he’s NOT an electrician! I hired him 4 years ago for this reason, and he wired up the house quickly! And now, 4 years later, after it burned down (fake news said it was an electric fire), I am going to hire him again!”

Alley, a member of the Church of Scientology, who is often bashed by Leah Remini, attempted to push back by bashing Democrats who are destroying religion.

When that did not work, she penned this tweet:

“Don’t think I’ve ever seen so much name-calling in my life. Definitely not on my site here anyway; I guess I’m not allowed to have a viewpoint without being called a really nasty name by what I’m going to suppose are really nasty people.”

Her critics were happy to make a connection between Scientology and Trumpsim and said that both are cults.
