50 Cent is a giant troll, and he spares no one, not even his girlfriend, Cuban Link, born Jamira Haines, on her birthday.
Friday night, Cuban Link had a big birthday party with many friends and family members despite the ongoing pandemic. The future lawyer looked stunning in a tight floral dress with matching gloves.
Videos that surfaced online showed the stunning fitness pro having the time of her life as she drank and partied the night away.
The Power star had some fun pranking his lady love by pretending to offer her an expensive Hermès Birkin bag only to pull out a lower price one from Marshalls.
Though the entire prank, Cuban Link remained a good sport and laughed as photographers snapped pictures away.
After mocking Cuban Link, 50 Cent did give her a pricey camel-colored Birkin bag.
In the past few weeks, there has been a lot of talking about Birkin bags after Saweetie appeared on Instagram Live with her boyfriend, Quavo, and gave this interesting piece of advice by saying: “If he not getting you a Birkin, if he is not paying for your bills, then throw that n**** back to the streets, OK?”
Many fans weighed in on the comment, including T.I., who said it was better to invest the money on a property.
Cardi B decided to show off her multi-million dollar collection of Hermès Birkin with husband Offset revealing he gave 15 of the 23 bags.
Saweetie did eventually elaborate on her comment that sparked a backlash: “Well, you know, one thing that people have to realize is I’m an entertainer and I come to entertain. So that was an entertaining comment. Like Jay-Z says at the end of ‘Ignorant Sht,’ he goes, ‘It’s only entertainment,’ and then he does this little evil laugh. I was having a good time promoting ‘Back to the Streets.’ And, you know, I’m popping my sht for my girls. But I feel like a Birkin symbolizes a gift of value.”
She went on to reveal: “But what comes along with being valued? It comes with a healthy relationship. It comes with communication. It comes with getting gifts. It comes with being spoiled because, at the end of the day, we create life … Women are magical creatures, and we deserve to be treated like a queen. So that’s what I meant by that statement … A Birkin is symbolic. Get her a purse, get her some jewelry—of course, according to your tax bracket. I don’t want you to clean out your savings to try to keep up with social media or society … It was a quick comment that represents how I feel women should be treated, which is showered with gifts, OK?”
The brand is probably enjoying the cntroversy.
