Dua Lipa treated her social media following to a string of photos this week, including a mirror selfie showing off her toned tummy.
Wearing a black sweater and matching black underwear, the 25-year-old singer posed in front of a mirror for one of the photos and lifted her clothing to reveal her slim figure and to confirm that she is not pregnant.
She shared another selfie, this time, it was taken inside a car with blue skies and palm trees visible from the rear window.
Her small black dog, Dexter — who has been seen on her social media before — sat on her lap as Dua Lipa looked towards the camera.
The pop star posted the new snaps to Instagram — where she boasts almost 60 million followers — and Twitter, where she has a following of more than 7 million.
In less than 24 hours, she had raked in well over 2 million likes for the pictures.
She captioned the post “Liquorice Allsorts” and used a variety of emojis in place of some of the letters — including a pink ribbon emoji and a cookie emoji.
In another photo, Dua Lipa holds her pooch, Dexter, to take a snap using a car as a mirrored surface.
It appears to have been taken at a different time to the other photo, as she is wearing shorts and a blue jacket, her hair is tied up, and her face is covered by a blue face mask.
Her face is almost entirely hidden underneath the mask and a large pair of sunglasses. Several other photos included her dog, Dexter, who was also seen sitting on someone else’s lap in the car — thought to be Dua Lipa’s boyfriend, Anwar Hadid — and sitting indoors near a fire.
Last week, Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid received backlash for their trip to Mexico earlier this month despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple sparked pregnancy rumors after Dua Lipa shared baby emojis on Instagram.
The European-born entertainer was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she set the record straight by saying: “I like finding little random emojis. I put, like, a little baby bottle, a little angel, some sparkles. Random. I really didn’t think this through.”
She added: “I posted it, and then I look at the comments, and then somebody says, ‘Is she pregnant? And I look at the picture; I look at the comment, I look at the picture, I look at the comment [and] I’m like, ‘Surely, I don’t look pregnant.’ And then, I see that people have been writing stories saying that I posted some cryptic message that I might be announcing my pregnancy. And I’m like, ‘Oh my god. These emojis have come to bite me in the ass.’I am not pregnant, just to clear up. Not pregnant.”
Fans found that Lipa handled the rumors well.
