At the moment, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are preparing for their second child’s arrival.
The power couple announced during their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey that they are expecting a baby girl.
Reliable sources have confirmed that Archie‘s baby sister will be born in the summer. It appears that Meghan’s due date is around Princess Diana‘s birthday.
It has been revealed that Prince Harry, who landed two very high-profile jobs, will take a certain amount of time off after welcoming the royal baby in the world.
Meghan Markle, who has been busy making millions via paid Zoom speeches, will also take a leave to bond with her second child.
A person familiar with the situation spoke to Page Six about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s paternity and maternity leave when their daughter arrives by saying: “They will both take some proper time off. It will be the summer, and they want to make sure they both take their leave, so they have some real quality time together once the baby arrives.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s leaked information did not sit well with royal fans who riped the power couple to shreds.
Many are asking why do they need to take their leave when they just started working at home.
A social media user had the following remark about the plan: “Oh good. I hope they sleep through the Queen’s Jubilee. Harry just accepted a new job and already wants time off before he’s even started. What a joke!”
This royal fan asked what Meghan Markle would do if she had to work 9 to 5 like millions of people worldwide.
The person wrote: “I want to see her after doing a 12-hour shift.”
Another supporter of the royal family chimed in to mock the pair: “They mean ‘time off’ from the continuous-time off they currently enjoy….how does that work ?.”
An angry commenter wrote a mini-essay on the leaked news: “She’s lived from luxury to Luxury mansions her entire time married to Harry. She’s taken more breaks than I’ve ever heard anyone taking breaks. It must be nice to be a millionaire and not having to worry about everyday things like the rest of the world is or what other pregnant moms do. They, however, are still complaining about being cut off and having to be financially independent, which they asked for, requesting gifts because they were supposedly not allowed to keep them as royal millionaires who can afford anything they want and never have to worry about going back into the workplace to work. Not that Meghan has worked in the last three years at all anyways. She’s always on break.”
Another close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke to Vanity Fair and explained that they are hoping to give birth at home.
After scrapping plans for a home birth for baby Archie, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now planning to deliver their second child, a girl, at their home in Montecito.
Sources with ties to the Sussexes said: “She has a beautiful home in California, and it’s a beautiful setting to give birth to her baby girl.”
It has also been confirmed that they were forced to eliminate plans for a home birth for baby Archie at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor at a birthing pool.
Moreover, when baby Archie became a week overdue, they opted for a safer hospital birth.
It is not known if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s plans will be scrapped after the Duke of Sussex‘s grandfather, Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99.
Prince Harry paid tribute to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, with a statement that read: “In Loving Memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, 1921-2021. Thank you for your service…you will be greatly missed.”
Prince Harry is expected to attend Prince Philip’s funeral.
