The sexy and stunning photo appeared to have been taken in a bathroom and features Ryan Gosling‘s longtime partner with no clothes on and sans makeup.

She used her topless selfie to draw awareness to a near and dear topic to her heart — consent.
The 47-year-old businesswoman, via the caption, explained why it is important for parents to teach and allow their children to own the word “no” when it comes to their bodies being touched.
In her caption, she revealed that she intentionally used the topless photo to get people’s attention and spoke about the tips given by psychologist Dr. Becky Kennedy.
She wrote: “This one really resonated with me. Here I am in deep thought -yes, this is what I do when pondering. I find good light and throw my arm up. Try it. It works. Swipe right, read what I was thinking…”
Many parents praised Mendes’s post, while others criticized it. A mom, who agreed with the star, said: “Beautiful! And so true! I wish I knew these things growing up. Unfortunately, I got treated with much the opposite of most of these principles. But, I can now raise my children with these principles and make sure they don’t suffer through some of the things I faced.”
Another parent shared: “I always tell my kids they can say NO to hugs from anyone.”
Some parents say this way of thinking will lead to selfish children who will refuse to hug their loving grandparents.
Another mother argued: “I agree with all of these points. I really do! I just struggle with the line of raising selfish children who only think of themselves. Not in the sense of hugs or affection- cause that seems way different than sharing with someone but in the sense that I want them to be playmates that are fun to be around that turn into generous adults.”
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been together since 2011 when they were filming the movie The Place Beyond the Pines.
The power couple shares two children — Esmeralda and Amanda — and have found ways to maintain an extremely private relationship.
In a past interview with US Weekly, she explained why she would not post pictures of her daughters: “And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give consent. I’ll talk about them, of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life. And since my children are so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent.”
The actress last appeared in a movie in 2014 — Lost River which was directed by Ryan Gosling.
When fans asked Mendes why she quit acting, she explained that she has “chosen to prioritize raising her young daughters.”
