Elizabeth Hurley is grieving and mourning the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Steve Bing, who is the father of her son, Damien Hurley.

It has been confirmed that Bing’s death has been ruled as a suicide. The official cause of death was listed as “multiple blunt trauma” by the Los Angeles County’s coroner.

According to the authorities, the film producer and founder of Shangri-La Entertainment plunged to his death from his Los Angeles, California apartment building on Monday.

Bing did not have a wife and left behind two children Damian Hurley and Kira Bonder.

Via social media, the 55-year-old actress and bikini designer paid tribute to Bing and confessed that they had grown close again in the past year and were able to spend some quality time together.

Her emotional message read: “I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end. Our time together was very happy, and I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matters. In the past year, we had become close again. We last spoke on our son’s 18th birthday. This is devastating news, and I thank everyone for their lovely messages. ❤️”

Along with her painful tribute to the late Bing, Hurley shared a beautiful slideshow of personal photos of the former couple making happy memories traveling the world while happy and in love.

The messages of support and love came pouring from fans all over the world.

The model received these words of wisdom from a follower on social media: “Stay mindfully strong; don’t be afraid to cry. Regardless of your closeness over the yrs, he was obviously a good guy. Be proud of becoming such a great person. I’ve gone through it. It’s bloody tough. I won’t lie, but in time u will reflect on him and smile. Liz clearly thought a lot of him. Mental health is a disease, not a choice. He didn’t choose to leave you. try to know that. ??”

A female Instagrammer penned this note: “Oh, darling. Beyond devastating for you and D. Sending love strength and prayers. ❤️”

Hurley was showered with this hopeful note from a backer: “So so sorry, Elizabeth. As I wrote Damien, he really was a very kind and sweet man, tho we know he had his share of problems. Such a horrible death. I am sending you my love and condolences and the knowledge that at least you were speaking again, and things worked out well for Damien. I am so so sorry. He will remain in my prayers and in my heart, xx.”

At the age of 18, Bing inherited about $600 million from his grandfather, Leo S. Bing, a real estate developer.

Bing had a net worth of $500 million thanks to the hit movies like The Polar Express, starring actor Tom Hanks and 2007’s Beowulf that he produced and financed.
