A recent video that surfaced online has become a PR nightmare for Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family.
Many royal fans and critics appeared united to slam the royals over a video that has gone viral on social media, especially on TikTok.
The brief footage shows a child falling on the floor and being stampeded by one of the Queen‘s Guardsmen.
The incident took place in late December at the Tower of London, which is an official residence for the royal family and the home of the Crown Jewels.
In the disturbing video, two serious-looking and energetic guards wearing long coats and carrying impressive weapons on patrol are seen marching towards a group of tourists.
One of the guards yelled, “make way,” but the little girl appeared to have her back turned away from the soldier.
As a member of the Coldstream Guard advances, he encounters the child on his path.
The Queen’s Guardsmen are known for their tough and no BS ways, and this one does not flinch and keeps going.
The child falls to the ground and is trampled underfoot by the Royal Guard.
After colliding with the child, the Queen’s Guardsman continues with his march and does not look back.
An anonymous user posted the shocking on TikTok with the following caption, “My sister went to England; first day in. Nobody is safe.”

The video has been viewed by almost 5 million people. This forced an Army spokesperson to address the incident with this statement: “We are aware of an incident at the Tower of London earlier today during a routine patrol. The Guardsman on duty warned members of the public that a patrol was approaching, but the child, unfortunately, ran out in front of the soldier unexpectedly.”
The statement continued to defend the Guardsman’s actions by saying: “The soldier tried to step over the child and continued on his duty. Following the incident, the soldier checked on the child and was reassured that all was well.”
The viral video has sparked outrage online, with thousands of people bashing the soldier for the unnecessary collision.
A person made this remark: “It wouldn’t kill the guard to walk around the child if it’s an adult in the way I understand, but if it’s a child, you can make an exception.”
However, a few people called out the parents of the child for failing to keep her out of the way.
Thus far, Queen Elizabeth has not commented on the scandal.
