Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, recently traveled to The Hague to participate in the 2022 Invictus Games.
The sporting event, which Prince Harry founded, sheds the spotlight on injured and disabled athletes who are war veterans.
However, this year, all eyes were also on Meghan Markle, who made a spectacular return to Europe two years after “Megxit.”
After making a brief stop in England, the former American actress captivated observers with her sense of style — she wore more than 14 articles of clothing and elegant pieces of jewelry worth almost one million dollars.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who is eyeing a political career, had Prince Harry in tears and moved her worldwide audience with her abilities as an orator by delivering a passionate and moving speech at the opening ceremony.
Prince Harry’s wife also wowed many with her almost Princess Diana-like humanitarian and sympathetic gestures.
Markle melted hearts by hugging the athletes and sharing words of comfort and encouragement.
Markle delighted others by being openly affectionate and supportive of Prince Harry in public settings.
She also went viral with an unexpected kind gesture — Markle removed her very pricey coat off her back and gave it to a mother whose baby was shivering in the cold.
As Meghan Markle was making bold statements with her words and actions, Prince William, his wife, Kate Middleton, and several royal family members tried to compete by attending an Easter Sunday service.
The royal family, all dressed up in various shades of blue, was photographed as they made their way to the church.
A royal expert has revealed that it was a huge mistake. According to a royal commentator, the photos from the church gathering and the Invictus Games revealed the major problem the royal family is currently facing, the disaster that is yet to come.
Royal columnist Daniela Elser said in a piece that Prince Harry and Markle’s full-throttle return to the limelight is “the shape of things to come,” which is “a disaster” for the house of Windsor.
She explained that Kate Middleton and Prince William would not be able to match up. She wrote: “What seems increasingly clear is that the Cambridges’ program of good works cannot compete.”
She continued: “William and Kate are on increasingly shaky ground here, and I’m not sure they entirely know how to play this game. Right now, the Windsors look like they are at sea about how to compete in this new royal arms race.”
The journalist added: “What seems increasingly clear is that the Cambridges’ program of (genuinely interesting and innovative) good works cannot compete when Harry and Meghan put on the razzle-dazzle and dial it all up to 11. Two innately charismatic people, freed of any palace strictures and with the budgetary oomph of Netflix behind them, are always going to prove far more compulsively watchable than two well-meaning, hardworking sorts competently getting on with things.”
Markle’s charm offensive comes as Prince William and his wife attempt to erase their disastrous Caribbean tour that angered many in the black community for their “colonial-inspired” photos.
