Queen Elizabeth’s Major And Heartbreaking Secret Decision Might Have Been Influenced By Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Queen Elizabeth New British Prime Minister Prince Harry Meghan Markle

The people around Queen Elizabeth II were trying hard to keep her upcoming historical decision a secret, but the cat is out of the bag.

Due to Queen Elizabeth’s health and mobility issues, she has taken the heartbreaking decision to remain in Balmoral for the summer and fall break — which implies that the newly elected Prime Minister will be forced to travel to Scotland for the swear-in ceremony.

The 96-year-old Monarch has met every English Prime Minister who has taken power over the last 70 years at Buckingham Palace.

In a historic first, Her Majesty will meet with either Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak to perform her constitutional duties at her massive Balmoral estate.

Her Majesty has decided that she will not give the job to Prince Charles.

On September 6, the politician will travel to Scotland to meet with Her Majesty to take part in the ceremony to seal the transition of power because Boris Johnson has decided to step down from his post.

A royal source, who spoke to The Sun, explained that senior aides and advisors have advised Her Majesty not to make the 1000-mile trip to London and instead have the new Prime Minister come to Scotland.

The source told the publication: “The Queen has now been advised not to travel. But obviously, no one tells the Queen what to do, and ultimately, it is her decision, and as we saw when she made a third appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony at the Jubilee, she likes surprises.”

The insider added: “There are some parts of her role that Prince Charles can do on her behalf, but the Queen is adamant that she appoints the Prime Minister. It may not be the best choice to make the Queen travel 1,000 miles there and back for a 48-hour visit when the Prime Ministers can easily get to Balmoral instead.”

Some royal experts see another angle in the Queen’s decision. By staying in Balmoral, she will certainly not be able to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Sussexes will be in London for two charity events around the same time as the Conservative Party will be holding their leadership vote to choose the country’s next Prime Minister on September 2.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester on September 5.

The pair will then make an appearance at the WellChild Awards on September 8.

While Prince Harry and Markle are said to be desperate to see the aging Queen, some royal commentators claim that might not be possible because her entourage will continue to keep them away because they fear that a Netflix camera crew will accompany them.

The Queen‘s handlers are also worried that private moments will be shared in Markle’s podcast or Prince Harry’s book.

Professor Pauline MacLaran, of Royal Holloway, University of London, noted: “I think the announcement of their intended visits to the UK and Germany will certainly make for much speculation as to how much they will interact with other members of the Royal Family while they are here. I think there’s little hint of rapprochement at this stage… the couple are likely to want to visit the Queen for two reasons.”

Professor MacLaran explained this will be “not only because she’s Harry’s grandmother and has maintained affectionate ties with him, but also to assert themselves in this respect. Importantly such a visit reinforces their royal status, a status that is very important for their brand going forward.”

The renegade royals might have to come up with another plan.
