Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have decided to capitalize on their star power.
Markle took part in a headline-making interview via The Cut, where she spoke about almost everything.
She touched on the past — her painful days in England and made a confusing comment about Prince Charles.
The Duchess of Sussex spoke about her current life — she is doing everything to protect her two children and has a beautiful marriage after finding her real-life Prince Charming.
Her future — she plans to keep raising her voice and shed light on important matters, and she teased a big return to Instagram.
Markle also hinted that she has much more to say about the royal family, but she has decided to hold back because she is focused on her healing process.
Meghan Markle is also the host of a successful podcast on Spotify. The Duchess launched Archetypes, where she sat down with two powerful and self-made, highly accomplished women — Mariah Carey and Serena Williams.
Markle held little back during her conversations with the women. She compared her marriage to Prince Harry to the release of the late great South African freedom fighter and President Nelson Mandala.
Markle, whose mother is a Black woman, confessed that she had not faced racism until she married her White prince.
Many applaud the former actress’ decision to finally use her voice and correct the inaccuracies of her life story, but she has also taken a dip in the polls.
Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to tell all has put a positive light on Prince William and his spouse, Kate Middleton, who are viewed as poise and private.
The future King and Queen of England are receiving louder praises than usual for keeping their heads down and upholding their dedication to the Monarchy and Queen Elizabeth.
According to The Sun, royal author and commentator Nile Gardiner claimed that “the tremendous grace and selflessness of the Duchess of Cambridge are the antithesis of Meghan Markle.”
Via Express, Martin Daubney, a journalist and politician, said the interview had “exploded in her face” as she faces major backlash over some of her comments.
He added on GB News: “She says it’s about truth bombs, but I think it has completely exploded in her face. There’s an astonishing litany of allegations.”
Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Zwelivelile “Mandla” Mandela, put Markle in her place for her remarks about the anti-apartheid activist, an icon of democracy who served 27 years in jail.
Nelson Mandela was the first Black president of South Africa and received hundreds of honors, including the Nobel Peace Prize.
Speaking to the MailOnline, Mandla said: “It can never be compared to the celebration of someone’s wedding. Madiba’s celebration was based on overcoming 350 years of colonialism with 60 years of a brutal apartheid regime in South Africa. So it cannot be equated to as the same.”
Those explosive and polemical comments that have backfired on Markle will make it even easier for Prince William and his wife to rise in popularity not only in the UK but all over the world.
