What a year it has been for Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, and it seems that this winter will be very harsh for the pair.
With the publication of Spare in early 2023, the couple had the winning narrative and had the press eating from their hands with every bombshell revelation and every accusation.
In the spring, promises were made — lots of contracts and deals were in the works — but not much has come to fruition as yet. It was a summer of disaster with Spotify.
During the fall, they were humiliated by King Charles III, who refused to let Prince Harry spend one night at Windsor Castle or any royal property for that matter.
The mockeries continued with the popular TV series Family Guy attacking the Montecito royals for their behaviors and desire to make millions while doing very little.
The pair is also reeling from the birthday fiasco involving King Charles. It seems all of these things have pushed Meghan Markle to make a major decision.
The Californian has told Prince Harry that the hours are upon them; it is time for him to start begging. A source told Closer that the retired actress wants Prince Harry to reach out to his father and passionately plead his case.
The insider claimed that Markle is fed up with the ridicule and mockeries, and she also fears that the Sussex brand is taking a hit and wants her husband to react.
The person claimed that: “Meghan said she won’t be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They’re in full panic mode. She’s told Harry that swallowing his pride and begging for his family’s forgiveness is the only way to save their brand.”
The report of Markle feeling stressed out about her brands comes on the heels of royal expert and Daily Mail writer Richard Kay making a bombshell statement about the situation.
He explained that Markle might be putting some distance between herself and Prince Harry because she fears that he might stain her brand.
He told Palace Confidential: “I think we can be sure that one thing she is really doing is being a mom and spending time with her children, but it is interesting. Is it because she wanted to give a bit more space to Harry, who had so much to get off his chest this year with his ghastly book and his interviews about his family?”
He went on to wonder if there was still a brand to be saved. The author shared: “Maybe she wanted to put a bit of clear blue water between what he had to say and what she was going to do next, and didn’t want to taint her brand. However, what is her brand, and will that brand still be there? The longer she’s out of the public eye, the harder it will be to kickstart it.”
The Sussexes are great at rebounding.
