Meghan Markle‘s proudest moment quickly turned into a nightmare scenario that led to tears. Earlier this year, Markle was determined to forge a path away from the usual bashing of the Royal Family and happily announced the launch of her lifestyle company, – American Riviera Orchard.

Prince Harry‘s wife unveiled the ARO brand’s official Instagram page and website. Markle also revealed that she will have a cookery show on Netflix.

She made many attempts to seduce a clientele by sharing her plans to sell various products for home, gardening, cooking, pets, and self-care.

The former actress teased the public with a gift of 70 jars of homemade strawberry jams. This was not just a gift but what Markled assumed was a clever marketing strategy.

She sent these jars to some of her closest friends and popular influencers, hoping they would share their experiences and help spread the word about her brand.

However, only a few jam recipients acknowledge Markle’s company or share their support on social media. The result of the rollout was a masterful disaster.

The Instagram page of Meghan‘s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, faced a setback. She was accused of copying another brand located in Montecito, which led to a halt in its growth.

This accusation, along with other factors, contributed to the negative reception of her brand. Markle even attracted ridicule for the presentation of the basket containing the jam jar.

King Charles III, who sells jams and marauded, joined the fun by pushing his brand. Additionally, Markle was dragged on social media for the company’s name. Some found it too long, and others said it was odd.

Via Yahoo, it was revealed that Meghan Markle was left in tears over the negative reception of the jams and lifestyle brand.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “The one fly in the ointment is Meghan’s new internet brand, America Riviera Orchard. Meghan was in tears when the brand launched, and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special. She has reached the point where she thinks anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticized.”

Markle seems royally sensitive, like her husband, who believes that the media and critics attack them unjustly. The royal expert stated: “She feels that people are unfairly picking on her, and she’s unprepared for any clapback that might come once American Riviera Orchard goes live sometime this year. She is especially sensitive about any criticism of her luxurious lifestyle in the US – from her point of view, this is something to be admired, not criticized.”

Markle plans to fight against the setbacks regarding the company and is reportedly planning to embark on a “Summer of Love” PR blitz in the US and UK.

This strategic move aims to improve her public image and change the narrative surrounding the brand.
