Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been the center of attention, stirring up a storm since stepping back from their royal duties.
Prince Harry and the former actress have delivered a series of significant blows to the family through their business ventures, such as Netflix, paid interviews, and the book Spare, leaving a lasting impact on the Royal Family dynamics.
While Prince William was quick to end the relationship with his brother and sister-in-law, King Charles III, being the kind father he is, decided to keep the communication channels open with the runaway pair.
However, after his cancer diagnosis, something else happened that pushed His Majesty to say this was indeed the last straw that broke the camel’s back.
It has been revealed that King Charles saw Prince Harry and Markle’s semi-royal tour in Africa as a disruptive move he could not forgive.
In May, while King Charles and Queen Camilla were preparing for their long-awaited international journey to Australia, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took Nigeria by storm. They were welcomed by the government and visited schools and charities.
The pair delivered speeches and received honors from the nation as if they still represented the monarchy.
King Charles watched angrily and frustratedly as Prince Harry and Markle showcased what he deemed foolishness. The pair continued with drama by traveling to Colombia.
These decisions created significant distrust in King Charles, which led to a firm stance. His doors are now closed to Prince Harry and Markle — there will be no more invitations for summer holidays in Scotland, and there will be no more Christmas gatherings in London.
Taking it further, King Charles requested Prince Harry’s name and book be banned during his Australian tour.
A source told Express: “It will be business as usual for the King and Queen during this tour, and they don’t want it to be marred by any talk of Harry’s book. It’s so insignificant to them at this point, and they’ve got much bigger things to focus on.”
The royal insider went on to share: “The King is keen for this tour to be a success, and it [Harry’s book] is not something that even registers on his radar.”
King Charles has had enough with his youngest child.
