King Charles III will not be putting on a poker face when the President of the United States visits him.
His Majesty has heard and seen enough to expect President Donald Trump to act accordingly, both while in public and in private.
In a nutshell, His Majesty will reveal the President’s true colors. With Buckingham Palace unavailable for the foreseeable future due to heavy renovation, Donald Trump’s state visit is set to take place at the more intimate setting of Windsor Castle.
This intimate venue means the two must spend more time together. It is widely alleged that President Trump has big and loud plans in mind.
He reportedly believes he can boss the King in his home. Trump has already shown he will try to override the King with demands, setting up a direct confrontation as both assert control.
These supposed demands include improving immigration policies, compromising on trade tariffs, and supporting his unusual efforts to annex Canada.
However, the King has no intention of giving in. Before the visit, the President reportedly embarrassed himself with an inappropriate Epstein comment, saying he lacked the privilege of visiting Epstein’s island.
During an interview, when asked about his past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump was quoted as saying, “I’ve known him for 15 years. Terrific guy.” He added, “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
In another instance, after he had publicly stated that he threw Epstein out of his private club, Mar-a-Lago, because “he stole people that worked for me,” he was pressed about why he had not visited Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous private island, Little St. James, or the Lolita Express. In response, he said, “I was never there… I don’t have the privilege of visiting Epstein’s island.”
Recent reports indicate that Trump has been publicly criticized by some of his own supporters for not releasing all of the Epstein files as promised, even as his administration has taken steps to seek the release of other records.
Reports suggest that King Charles views Trump’s recent controversies as strategic tools, helping him appear firm and unwavering during the visit.
King Charles is firm in his belief that a man who has praised Epstein and expressed regret for not having the “privilege of visiting” the island does not hold much regard in his eyes.
He will put on a brave face and play his diplomatic role during the state visit, but his personal thoughts on the man are said to align with those of his late mother, who saw him as an exceptionally controversial figure.
According to The Royalist via The Daily Beast: “Trump remains the outsider, received with courtesy but never embraced. Charles is currently at Birkhall, his house in Scotland, relaxing and no doubt preparing himself for the Trump state visit. I’m quite sure Charles will discharge his duties and make nice with Trump seamlessly. But when the doors close and the visitors disperse, one wonders whether he too will confide, as his mother once did, that he found the man very rude indeed.”
As the King has deemed his own brother, Prince Andrew, persona non grata after his repugnant ties to Epstein were revealed, it is believed he will certainly not be a hypocrite and make an exception for Trump, who also “palled around” with the late convicted pedophile.
