Kourtney Kardashian could be considering getting a few dozen tattoos like her partner, Travis Barker, after she shared filtered photos to her social media revealing what she would look like if she followed her boyfriend’s inked style.
The 42-year-old reality TV star has been dating Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 45, for several months. He is famed for his many tattoos, which are visible on almost every part of his body.
And in a recent Instagram Story shared to her account, Kourtney showed her 126 million followers what she might look like if she followed suit and got her own series of tattoos all over her body, including her face and neck.
Wearing a casual black Beastie Boys T-shirt and with her hair in a long braid over one shoulder, Kourtney pouted as she used a filter that added tattoos to her forehead, neck, cheeks, and right arm.
After they announced they were dating in February, Travis Barker revealed a tattoo that spelled Kourtney’s name on his chest.
It was the latest addition to an extensive array of tattoos, including on his neck, torso, legs, and arms, which he has collected over decades.
Not long after Kourtney shared the inked clips to her story, Travis’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, posted a similar photo of her own, albeit with fewer tattoos — one above her eyebrow and a few small designs around her eyes.
She has been publicly criticizing her ex-husband and his new girlfriend and most recently has lashed out at Kourtney’s sister, Kim Kardashian, 40, claiming she had an affair with Travis before their divorce in 2008.
Shanna Moakler has blamed Kourtney and Kim for “destroying” her family, but Kim hit back and called the allegations a “false narrative” in an Instagram Story shared in May.
Meanwhile, a close source to Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she is in love with the rocker and added that they are happy “how seamlessly they’ve integrated their families together… That’s always been very much a focus for both of them, and they feel proud that everyone can be supportive of their happiness.”
The insider continued: “Travis would absolutely love to tie the knot with Kourtney, but Kourtney hasn’t been sure that’s the step she wants to take…She is extraordinarily happy and doesn’t feel the need or want the pressure of getting married.”
It is clear that things are getting serious between the two as the mother of three starts a new chapter in her life following the end of the family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
