The viral images were enough to turn the focus away from some of the recent negative headlines about Hussle like the complicated legal battle involving his family and ex, Tanisha Foster, for the custody of their daughter, Emani Asghedom.
Moreover, recent reports about Hussle have painted his situation in a more questionable light.
According to sources, LAPD has been investigating the rapper for some time, all the way up to the time of his death at the hand of murder suspect Eric Holder.
It is not clear what the investigation was focused on, however, and there have been conflicting reports on that front.
