The story of a missing teenager who had not been seen in almost one year has come to a somewhat positive conclusion, as reports indicate that authorities have rescued the girl and arrested her alleged captor, Christopher Johnson.
The girl’s location was identified thanks to a Pornhub video, which was uncovered during an ongoing effort by investigators who were going through large volumes of pornographic materials, trying to identify the missing teenager.
They eventually came across several videos, some of which featured the same man. Videos featuring the teenage girl were also found on sites like Periscope, Modelhub, Snapchat, and others.
Johnson, a thirty-year-old Davie, Florida man, was allegedly spotted together with the girl at a 7-Eleven in February, prompting further suspicion by authorities.
Police officers arrested him earlier this week as he was trying to drive away with the girl next to him in the passenger seat.
The video allegedly shows him having sexual intercourse with the girl whose age has not been confirmed yet. According to reports, she is 15.
The girl has confirmed that she has gotten pregnant at one point, and the man forced her to have an abortion.
Authorities were able to recover documents confirming that the girl had visited an abortion clinic, although the man has so far denied all accusations and said that he did not abuse her sexually.
Johnson was charged with lewd or lascivious battery on a victim between 12 and 16, a felony, and his bail was set at $75,000. He is currently being held at the Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
The case is still developing, but due to its sensitive nature, most details are being kept under wraps, and authorities have been reluctant to share more information about their progress.
Detective Adam Granit wrote in the arrest report: “She is either fully nude (or) topless in all videos and performs oral sex and sexual intercourse in at least two of the videos. The victim stated that she got pregnant from the defendant and he took her to the clinic to have an abortion.”
Johnson could face up to 25 years in prison, a lifetime registration as a sex offender, and a $10,000 fine. The case has gotten reactions locally and online with people pushing for full justice if the man is really guilty.
