It has been confirmed that Tamar Braxton had a very complicated week, which concluded with a horrific scare for all her loved ones — the diva attempted to commit suicide by consuming an undisclosed amount of prescription pills and alcohol.
The singer and reality TV star was found unconscious in her hotel room by her boyfriend, David Adefeso, who immediately called 911.
Many were quick to point to Tamar’s social media accounts that revealed that she was distressed in the past week and had been calling out for help.
On Twitter, Tamar said she was a slave and lashed out at We TV for the contract she signed with them that has now made her life impossible.
Tamar decided to pen the letter because she could not understand why the network was using the killing of George Floyd and the black community while they were making a mockery of her and her relatives.
The Braxton Family Values star also confessed that she had previously thought of taking her life when We TV execs exposed her darkest and deepest secret — she was raped for several years.
In the letter that was leaked online, Tamar shamed the producers for doing this to her family: “We fight with each other, we betray each other, and now we’re physically assaulting each other — all happening because your show [“Braxton Family Values“] has chosen to show the absolute worst side of a strong, independent and successful African American family; a show that I created to showcase a strong Black Family as a beacon of hope for all the young black girls and boys out there; instead you coached and cajoled us into finding the worst in each other.”

The artist spoke in details about the most horrific experience with the network: “The final stake into the heart of my family was the day you dug up a secret I’d never shared with anyone, a secret I was so ashamed to talk about that I hid it even from my own mom: the fact that I had been assaulted and raped repeatedly from age 6 to age 16, sometimes multiple times a day.”

Tamar said that producers had destroyed her when they shared her secret with Iyanla Vanzant in 2018 for ratings.
She wrote: “Producers had exposed it on your show in front of my entire family and 100 crew members. You broke me that day, and I considered ending my own life then for the shame I felt!”
Nene Leakes recently gave an update on Tamar by saying that she is still hospitalized and has been struggling with a lot of different issues and is now getting the help that she needs.
